Foodie Tour Poznań

Flagship Poznan food on one plate – ideal tour for small groups

This is an ideal offer if:

  • you are coming to Poznań alone or with a group up to 8 people
  • you want to discover and taste flagship local dishes
  • you want to sightsee around the Market Square with a private guide

This is not a good offer if:

What is it about?

We will take you on a short, one-hour private tour around the Old Market Square, where you will see the tourist highlights of the city. These will include the Renaissance Town Hall, merchant houses, the Parish Church considered the gem of Baroque, and the Royal Castle. As usual, we promise good sense of humour and plenty of interesting anecdotes. After that we will take you to one of the best restaurants in Poznań Old Town for a food tasting experience.

3-in-1 Tasting plate

In the restaurant, you will be served a tasting plate with portions of 3 dishes – the flagships of local Poznan food. These will include the famous Polish pierogi with a local filling. You can also choose a soft or stiff drink, both of which will deliver new culinary experience – especially the stiff drink, a special type of “old-Polish” mulled beer. There will be fun too while you prepare part of the dish yourself in a mini food workshop led by our guide. Naturally, our guide will reveal a few secrets about each of the dishes.

Unusual lunch

The portions on the plate are big enough to replace a decent lunch. This means it won’t leave you hungry while still leaving enough space for something more – snacks or a dessert. And if you add to that our mini food workshop (preparing your own mulled beer!) and the commentary, Foodie Tour Poznań will make a very unique type of lunch for you and your friends.
