Guided Tour: Icons of Poznań
The lively Old Town of Poznań, with its beautiful buildings and charming corners, is a unique reminder of the city’s golden age in the 16th century – a time of true prosperity.
While strolling through the stunning Old Market Square, you’ll have the chance to admire not only the Renaissance-style Town Hall but also hear the story of the famous Poznań billy goats. You’ll experience the delight of seeing their butting heads on the town hall tower, marking the arrival of noon.
We’ll tell you about the city executioner, visit the Bamberka statue, and reveal how the Jesuits ‘played’ with people’s senses in the Fara Church. To end the tour, we’ll take you to the Royal Castle, where we’ll share a handful of legends tied to this historic site.
Finally, we’ll invite you to savor our local specialty – the St. Martin’s croissant.
